Casas Karen is a unique getaway located on one of Spain’s most beautiful and less discovered coastlines: the Costa de la Luz, which is named for its extraordinary light. We are located in the small beach town of Los Caños de Meca, just off the site where the Battle of Trafalgar took place in 1805.
Casas Karen pays tribute to life on the Costa de la Luz long before the tourists arrived comprising a collection of chozas (traditional, thatched straw houses) that were typical to the region in the eighteenth century, as well as converted farm buildings and one beach apartment, scattered throughout our untamed, native gardens.
We hope you’ll find it a place to rest, rewind and recharge and get a taste of the real Costa de la Luz.
