Reservations and Information

CASAS KAREN INFORMATION & CONDITIONS

Casas Karen is located in a quiet area, surrounded by nature and greenery. Afterwards, we can ask for information about the surroundings, as well as about the people who live in nature.

FRIDAY AND DAYTIME

Check-in time: From 4:00 PM (Earlier check-in is sometimes possible. Please inquire in advance)
Check-out time: Before 11:00 AM. If you wish to stay later and there is availability, please arrange this in advance with the office. In some cases, an extra half day may be charged.

TRASH

Please dispose of trash in the appropriate containers located on the main road in Los Caños. There is no trash collection at the houses in Los Caños de Meca.
There is an extra charge of €5 if you wish to leave trash at the house at the end of your stay.

CLEANING

If additional cleaning is required at the end of your stay beyond the allotted time, your credit card will be charged for the time spent.
1 hour – €18

Half hour – €9

ORGANIC PRODUCTS

Use only Organic Products:
Organic body cleansing products such as shampoos, soaps, etc.
Natural mosquito repellent (citronella, etc.)
Organic cleaning products: Dishwashing liquid and multipurpose detergent are provided for your use in the accommodation.
Please do not use:
Bleach or other non-organic cleaning products.

FURNITURE AND OBJECTS

In the event that furniture or objects in the house are broken or significantly worn during your stay due to misuse, the guest will be responsible for replacing them, paying for replacements, or having them repaired, and will notify us.
Casas Karen is not responsible for the customer’s desire, safety, recovery, or difficulty in handling their belongings in their facilities.
Casas Karen reserves the right to charge the guest’s credit card for any damage, theft, or extras that may occur during their stay.

CANCELLATIONS

All changes or cancellations must be made by email in addition to phone calls.

Up to 30 days’ notice, the deposit will be refunded less a €60 administration fee.

From 29 to 7 days, 50% of the deposit will be refunded. (If 100% has been paid, 75% will be refunded.)
Less than 6 days, no refund. (If 100% has been paid, 60% will be refunded.)

If the cancellation is due to Covid-19 (mobility restrictions, etc.), Casas Karen offers:

1. 100% of the deposit will be retained for a future reservation, with no expiration date.
2. Refund of the deposit less a €60 administration fee.

We recommend that you purchase travel insurance that includes cancellation fees.

PETS

If you wish to bring your pet:

Only calm and well-behaved pets are allowed.
€10 per night, additional cost.
For more than one pet, please contact us before booking and we will confirm if this is possible.
We need to know at the time of booking.
Click on the “Pet” box.
Indicate the number, type of pet, and breed.

Domestic Pet Owners’ Rules

We ask that you take your pet for a walk to the Nature Park to relieve itself and not leave it loose until you return.
Do not allow pets on the sofas or beds. Please bring specific beds and/or blankets for your pet.
The owner will be responsible if their pet causes any damage to the accommodation, the grounds, or to third parties. Therefore, Casas Karen disclaims all liability if any of the aforementioned contingencies occur.
It is recommended that you purchase pet insurance.
Pets may not be left alone in the accommodation or on Casas Karen grounds. If there are any issues, please contact the office.
Pets must be kept in proper hygienic conditions.

Casas Karen reserves the right to terminate the stay of any person who violates the minimum standards of civility and coexistence.
